ironwear Warehouse Inventory Specialist in La Porte, Texas

Ironwear is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a leader in PPE and Safety Equipment, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards in our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing inventory quality control and ensuring accuracy in stock levels. You will work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to monitor and improve inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock counts.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reorder supplies as necessary.
Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Assist in organizing the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Prepare reports on inventory status and recommend improvements.
Checking orders for accuracy
Assist customers with picking up will-call orders
Track incoming releases for shipment according to logging procedures
Maintain showroom appearance and perform product refreshes as required
Perform various other duties as assigned by the operations facility manager
Specific Duties:
Inventory Management
Track and document inventory levels on a daily basis.
Implement inventory control measures to maintain stock accuracy.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock as needed.
Shipping and Receiving
Organize and manage stock of incoming and outgoing products.
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all inventory transactions.
Assist in the loading and unloading of products as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in warehouse management software or inventory tracking systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to multitask
High proficiency in math
Ability to learn new programs

Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
Experience with data entry and reporting.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
