Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Sleep Technologist - Sleep in La Mesa, California
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sleep Technologist is responsible for laboratory set-up, patient hook-up and performing and evaluating overnight polysomnograms. This individual will operate sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep and wake physiology, and work as a team member to perform any and all of the tasks required of each shift. The role will maintain a schedule which includes day, evening or night shifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent
Area of study in a field related to the position
1 year of experience
California Registration as a Sleep Technologist or Licensed Respiratory Therapist
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
Knowledge and competency in all aspects of sleep testing procedures and scoring
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree
3 years of experience
Strong Clinic knowledge of pediatric sleep medicine and polysomography
The current salary range for this position is $31.82 to $47.23
A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
