Description
We are on the lookout for a Sr. Database Visualization Engineer to be part of our team. The role primarily involves front-end development and creating meaningful visual narratives through data. The job function is based in La Jolla, California, and offers an exciting opportunity to work in the tech industry.
Responsibilities
• Develop engaging, user-friendly front-end applications for data visualization using React.js and various libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, Victory, and Nivo.
• Identify, clean, and analyze datasets to create compelling data stories.
• Manage the entire design process independently, from initial concept to final execution.
• Collaborate across our organizations to visualize complex data and drive the adoption of best practices.
• Utilize SQL, Snowflake, and Python for data manipulation and integration with frontend displays.
• Ensure all visualizations reflect the highest standards of design quality and contribute to our goals in the industry.
• Translate functional prototypes and wireframes into interactive, data-rich storytelling platforms.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency with Cloud Technologies
• Significant experience working with Databases and Database Objects
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in utilizing Informatica
• Experience with AB Testing methodologies
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) principles
• Ability to develop and interpret Business Requirement Documents
• Proven ability in creating effective Dashboards
• Experience in Data Warehousing
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
