OfficeTeam is currently searching for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative. Are you always outgoing and sociable? This could be a great position for you. This position will operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This Customer Service Representative position is based in the San Diego, California region and is a short term temporary employment opportunity. The Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of order entry experience in SAP! This is a fast phase environment and our client needs someone that pays good attention to detail, has prior order entry experience and customer service.

Your responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative:

  • Field and send out send written business correspondence

  • Organize and route incoming telephone calls

  • Provide accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • By being successful in your role, you will facilitate business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of SAP SD Sales & Distribution

  • Expertise in customer service

  • Sales Management Systems experience highly desired

  • Comprehensive knowledge of order entry

  • General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

  • Deep understanding of import customer service

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

  • Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Word

  • Sales experience preferred

  • Ability to use multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

  • Ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
