Schedule Weekly Hours:36 Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time for our Surgery Clinic. This is your opportunity to work in a clinic position that is very \"hands on\" nursing focused. Our Surgery Clinic is based inLa Crosse and Onalaska, Wisconsin. What you will do: 72 hours every two weeks; 0.9 FTE Work 8-hour day shifts between the hours of 0730-1700. No weekends, holidays, or call obligations! You will assist with wound vacs and dressing changes, assist with in-office procedures, conduct pre-and post-operative patient education, and perform some telephone triage This role also supports bariatric surgery patients pre and post-operatively and obesity medicine patients using medicines and meal replacement therapies. This role will be split between Lacrosse and Onalaska. Job Description: The registered nurse (RN) focuses on the health and wellness of individuals, families and populations in collaboration with other health care professionals by incorporating evidence-based practice in the management of acute illness, chronic disease, disability, and end-of-life care.
