Starting salary of \$41,600 What you\'ll do: Maintain and develop competent chaplaincy skills as a means of professional development Provide informal one-on-one supportive conversations with staff Support interdisciplinary approach to pastoral care. Prepare required reports/documentation What you\'ll need: Post High School education in a specialized field: theological degree or equivalent (completed or in process). 6 months of experience in helping professions or positions, or experience in parish setting We\'re healthcare for neighbors, by neighbors. Join our mission in changing healthcare by applying today.Job Description: The Chaplain Resident learns a degree of professional competence in the provision of spiritual care and learns to assist patients, families, and staff in using their religious, spiritual, and emotional resources in ways which contribute to healing and to restoring of health. In doing so, all CPE students report to: (in order) an ACPE Certified Educator, the CPE Program Manager, and the Gundersen Spiritual Care Department Clinical Manager. In some cases, reporting may fall to another designate. Major Responsibilities: 1. Providing spiritual care to patients and families 2. Providing supportive and emotional care for hospital staff 3. Maintaining and developing competent chaplaincy skills as a means of professional development 4. Preparing required reports/documentation 5. Chaplaincy care for staff and organization: Provide informal one-on-one supportive conversations with staff Attend meetings, committees, departments, etc., as assigned 6. Maintaining competent chaplaincy care Satisfy the educational requirements of ACPE accredited Clinical Pastoral Education program Accept clinical responsibility for assigned units 7. Completed ACPE application, onsite screening interview by ACPE Supervisor and screening committee, has letter of reference for hire and/or proof of good standing with faith group. 8....
