HID’s Textiles Services:

HID's Textile Services division is part of HID, based in the south of France is specialized in the linen and uniforms management for different market segments.

Combining RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology with a cloud-based reporting and analysis tool, HID's ACUITY platform provides real-time visibility of each textile product at all stages of the washing, distribution and inventory cycle, whether you are an industrial laundry, hotel or healthcare facility.

This innovative digital platform makes it possible to improve operational efficiencies in the treatment of textile (linen, sponges, uniforms and resident clothing), to optimize flows and reduce losses, and to comply with hygiene standards.

As our Product Owner, you’ll support HID’s success by:

Supporting the strategy

  • Clearly sharing the Product Vision and the priorities with the team and explaining goals need to be addressed to answer the market expectations

  • Executing and maintaining the Product Roadmap in alignment with overall product strategy and business objectives, that outlines the high-level direction and key milestones.

    Managing the Product Backlog

  • Aligning with product management to identify and prioritize Features to realize the product Roadmap

  • Supporting the team to refine Product Features into stories prior to Sprint Planning, explaining the customer’s needs and establishing acceptance criteria

  • Aligning with operations, sales and support teams to capture and review issues identified in the field, and add them to the Product Backlog, where necessary

  • Continuously refining and prioritizing the Product Backlog to ensure it addresses the correct balance of exploration, development and improvements items

  • Making trade-off decisions to maximize product value while considering resource constraints and time-to-market pressures.

    Aligning expectations

  • Acting as the primary liaison for the development team with Product Management and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinating product reviews to demonstrate progress, gather feedback and identify improvements.

  • Ensuring that at every decision point, the product fulfills the overall vision, user needs and stakeholder priorities.

  • Supporting execution

  • An integral part of the development team, providing clarity and making product decisions within scrum events and agile ways of working.

  • Continuously educating and updating the team on the market expectations and trends, user personas and principle use cases.

  • Establishing and reviewing adherence to clear acceptance criteria for development work and ensuring the teams Definition of Done is adhered to.

    Release Management

  • Direct the team to provide release candidates, ensuring that new features or updates are delivered smoothly and meet the quality standards.

  • Communicating progress towards realizing release plans to product management and stakeholders.

    Continuous Improvement

  • Supporting the team to identify and implement improvements to optimize team effectiveness and product quality.

  • Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating insights into our strategy.

    What we will love about your background:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

  • Fluent in French

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

  • You are a strong team player and can work well with others.

  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills, a readiness to learn, and the ability to delve into hands-on work when required.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field is a benefit, but not essential.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in applying these principles to product development.

  • Proven experience working in a product management role, preferably as a Product Owner or similar position.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering high-quality products on time and within budget, while collaborating closely with development teams.

  • Ability to put yourself in the place of the customer identifying their most important needs and pain points.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive the product roadmap.

  • Act as a point of contact for the team, ensuring prompt responses to questions and swift decision-making to prevent any hindrances.
