Position Summary

We are currently looking for a highly competent Commodity Support Specialist based in Kuala Lumpur.

Reporting directly to the Team Lead for Commodities Support, you will be responsible for contract management lifecycle for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing processes, financial tools, and policies in place.

In this role you will be managing the relationship between our Ensuring Supply and Price Risk Management activities. The focus will be on ensuring Supply and Hedge Effectiveness through allocation of volumes, contracts and derivatives used in price management of key commodities used by the group.

A Day in the Life of a Commodity Support Specialist

  • Implement distribution of futures to match physical requirements to ensure hedge effectiveness.

  • Allocate volumes and suppliers to markets from Nestrade parent contracts.

  • Prepare and record price fixations with suppliers.

  • Link hedge results to physical supply contracts.

  • Proactively manage the contract life cycle.

  • Exchange daily with Price Risks Management Desk, Suppliers and Strategic Buyers.

  • Ensuring close follow-up of shipments.

What will make you successful

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Supply Chain.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of Procurement and financial instruments.

  • Attention to details, sense of initiative and solution oriented.

  • Ability to work in an international and complex environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.

  • Proficiency in English. Any other language is a strong asset.
