General Description

Under general guidance, the Technical Writer/Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and enhancing technical documents, proposals, marketing materials, and manuals that convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. In this role, the Technical Writer/Editor will collaborate closely with internal teams, review extensive research materials, and produce polished and engaging content. This position involves writing various texts for diverse audiences, editing and refining content created by subject matter experts (SMEs), and providing document formatting and template design services.

Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and format documents, reports, and materials to ensure the production of high-quality technical documents.
  • Provide technical editing for HSG materials, including revising content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
  • Transform complex technical content into clear, concise, and reader-friendly documents.
  • Enforce the HSG Style Guide and other editing guidelines.
  • Review a vast array of research materials and write clear and concise report content.
  • Provide summaries of report content and populate reference lists or data tables.
  • Aid in the development of proposal materials, marketing materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of HSG procedures.
  • Assist with graphic design to ensure document graphics align with the strategic vision for each project.
