Google Software Engineer, Commerce, Chrome OS in Kraków, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

  • Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

  • Experience working in Java.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

  • Experience in full stack development.

  • Experience with Bill of Quantities (BoQ).

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

  • Design, implement, and maintain developer-facing APIs.

  • Develop and enhance user features across different products in Chrome OS.

  • Define and iterate on the product experience collaboratively with cross-functional peers.

  • Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional peers (e.g., Program Manager, UX, Partnerships) to help plan and scope project work and deliver the team’s goals.

  • Design, implement, and maintain functionality across Google back-end.
