Financial Analyst
Overview:
With over 300 employees, the EMEA Finance Centre in Krakow provides financial services for Aon entities in multiple countries. In this role of Financial Analyst, you will be acting as key support for Finance Business Partners to report and analyze metrics including cost, revenue and support Month End Close process.
Success in the role will allow you build an understanding and expertise to support and drive initiatives concerning accounting, reconciliations, financial support and control, production, management information analysis, assisting business unit budgeting and forecasting cycles, as well as influencing financial performance.

What the day will look like
Month End - supporting the month end close process from Controllership and FP&A perspective (including bank and other accounts reconciliations)
Preparing journal entries that reflect the business transactions in the ledgers of the company
Managing assigned treasury and payables processes for respective business units (incl. supplier invoices payments process)
Supporting Accounts Receivable associated activities (data analysis, ageing overview)
Forecasting and Planning - assist in the production of the monthly cost forecast, annual budget for submission and updating of related systems
Management Information - support multiple business units through delivery of effective management information
Business Partner Support - ad hoc tasks and reporting related to business unit management (co-operation with Finance Business Partners responsible for Cayman Islands, US and Barbados companies)
Process Improvement - maintain and improve the processes supporting activities

Skills and experience that will lead to success
3+ years of experience in finance analysis or general accounting
Good knowledge of accountancy gained in a corporate and international environment
Bachelor's / Master's degree, preferably in finance or accounting
MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
Very good English communication skills
Attention to details
Ability to work under time pressure
Ability to successfully cooperate in a team
