Finance Application Support Analyst - French Speaker

What the day will look like This role will provide the candidate an opportunity to work as part of a global Application Support Team and will be focussed on one of our main Policy Management and Technical Accounting Applications. The Application – ‘Evolution’ is a Vendor Application that is used widely across the world, not only by Aon but also other global Broking Companies. As Evolution is primarily used as a Technical Accounting System within Aon the candidate must have a strong accounting background.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Coordinate with end users and assist them with their regular problems/issues, these issues will be managed through Aon’s ticketing system – Service Now.
Develop new ideas and present them to the end users and team.
Analysing and documenting the issues, suggesting a proposed solution, where possible and liaising with the vendor as required.
Assist with the deployment of new releases of the software.
Assist with UAT testing of the product’s new releases and hot patches; and will also be responsible for successfully documenting completed test results.
Document and submit all the bugs identified within the system and send them to the Vendor for resolution.
Communicate with the stakeholders on regular basis and keep them appraised on the development of these issues.
Make changes/additions to Master Data within the Application and configurations changes as required.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Very good English and French (min. B2+)
Strong communication, business acumen, and interpersonal skills
Team player and demonstrated customer service focus.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Functional understanding of Insurance and Financial business operations
Strong project analysis and planning skills
Understanding of testing protocol
Understanding of business needs analysis
The candidate should have experience and a relatively strong background in the below areas of accounting:
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
General Ledger
Reconciliations
The candidate should have strong analytical skills and ability to analyse problems/issues and be able document a solution that is acceptable to the project and/or business teams.
Be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise these.
