Cisco Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager - Poland in Krakow, Poland

*The preferred location for this requisition is Krakow - Poland and the successful applicant, although the role is hybrid, should be located within a commutable distance to our Krakow office.

What You'll Do
The EHS Project Manager supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Cisco's global EHS programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and our internal policies. You will work cross-functionally with various departments to promote a safety culture throughout the organization.
As a EHS Project Manager based in Poland, you will support all local OHS activities as detailed in the local regulations as well as supporting regional EHS initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include among others:
Work together with the other Poland based EHS team members to support local EHS compliance and conformance programs, support the organization and management of the local safety committee meetings, as well as promote corporate safety initiatives.
Support global EHS operations to drive process improvement using a data driven decision making process, data collection and analysis.
EHS administrative support
Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and other partners to foster a safe and environmentally responsible working environment.
Take part in incident investigations and root cause analyses for any EHS-related incidents, identify corrective actions and develop preventative action plans to prevent recurrence.
Participate in EHS led audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage EHS documentation and records in accordance with local legal requirements and Cisco's document retention policies.
Support global EHS objectives.
Being the bridge between the EHS team and local partners providing expertise, guidance, and support to enable understanding and compliance with EHS processes, systems, and requirements.

Our Minimum Qualifications for This Role
Master’s degree (MS) or bachelor’s of science (BS) degree in Occupational Health and Safety or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety
Pedagogical certification to conduct OHS initial training or demonstrated experience providing periodic training for occupational health and safety services AND demonstrated experience in organising health and safety awareness events.
High level of both Polish and English language capabilities (reading, writing and verbal communication
Experience working on international OHS teams
Preferred Additional Qualifications
Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence and engage coworkers
Good technological skills and capable of learning new tools, systems, and software
Proficient in using basic office software such as PPT, Excel, Word,
Project management experience
Fire protection inspection experience
ISO 14K and 45K internal auditor.
