Jacobs China Limited’s consultancy services offered include feasibility studies, investigation, design, contract administration and site supervision of all areas of civil, highway, railway, geotechnical and building engineering. Other services include asset management and risk assessment, building surveying and structural maintenance, quality assurance, conservation and restoration, project management and forensic engineering.

Jacobs China Limited has been appointed by the Civil Engineering and Development Department as the Consultant for the above Contract. The works under this contract mainly comprise formation works for about 7.5 hectares (ha) of land; related infrastructures including drainage, sewerage, irrigation, water supply, utilities and street lighting; associated park facilities including basic lodging and storage units; and construction of about 900 metres (m) long access road and footpaths (including two vehicular bridges with associated footpaths of about 20 m and 40 m long respectively) connecting the existing Tsiu Keng Road. The construction works is anticipated to be completed in 2024. We now invite application for the following Resident Site Staff positions:

Here’s what you’ll need :

Candidates should have:-

(i) Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in appropriate discipline; and

(ii) At least 7 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or

(iii) At least 7 years’ relevant experience as Resident Survey Officer (Engineering) or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

Conditions: You must have working rights in Hong Kong to be considered. Appointments will be made in accordance with the prevailing Government’s terms and conditions. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
