We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Credit Initiation Project and Control - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Credit Initiation Sr Supervisor – C11) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Working with business leaders and process owners on required regulatory obligations and contributing to the end-to-end development of controls and monitoring to ensure they are designed to adhere with applicable regulations.

  • Work closely with Credit Operations Control & Governance Lead to deliver control tasks like Manager Control Assessment (MCA), Quality Assurance testing and etc.

  • Developing strong relationships with Business, In-Unit Control Managers, Operations & Technology leadership and partners in 2nd and 3rd lines of defense and engage with them to reduce and mitigate regulation risk.

  • Work with Function Line Managers to develop automate controls and digitize monitoring where appropriate.

  • Guiding the process owners on establishing permanent audit readiness activities that effectively demonstrate adherence to applicable regulatory obligations. This includes providing guidance to or participating in targeted review teams and engaging with Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance over potential regulatory findings.

  • Appropriately assess risk prior to making business decisions. Demonstrating meticulous attention and consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations adhering to Policy.

  • Lead Projects and initiatives - System enhancement, Robotics Solution and other smart automation tools solutions.

  • Manage projects across workstreams (like Country, Regional, Business and

  • Regulatory Drivers) and ensure the deliverables are on track. Regularly update

  • Line Managers and Head of Credit Initiation should there be any challenges.

  • Perform analytical and troubleshooting on reported systematic incidents from the users and work with Technology team to come up with a resolution plan.

  • Provide evaluative impact analysis judgement and assessment based on information analysis during UAT testing phases and Production reported incident.

  • Manage resource support requirements in order to meet project timelines and engaged Line Manager for support in case it is under capacity.

  • Coordinating with other functions subject matter expert (SME) in Credit

  • Operations to provide regular initiative updates for Management Forum.

  • Manage Change Management Process starting from initiative planning, UAT testing, Friendly User testing (FUT), Production Launch and ongoing monitoring.

  • Appropriately assess risk prior to making business decisions. Demonstrating meticulous attention and consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations adhering to Policy.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related role

  • Intermediate to senior level experience in a related role with commensurate people management experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues utilizing in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
