ManpowerGroup Test Engineer - JK1954 in Kokomo, Indiana
One of our Automotive client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Kokomo, IN . In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by leading and executing rigorous testing procedures.
About the Role:
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with product designs, processes, and applications.
Owning and maintaining control plans.
Employing advanced problem-solving skills to address production and quality issues.
Coordinating and scheduling special builds and change notices.
Conducting risk assessments for change notices and special builds.
Leading quality and customer safety initiatives.
Providing technical direction to employees on root cause analysis and issue resolution.
Creating and maintaining repair procedures.
Interpreting engineering designs and specifications.
Developing FAT torques for new models and reviewing audit results.
Supporting corporate quality objectives and communicating customer demands.
Providing guidance on engine component inspections and reviews.
Reviewing Torque Audit data for conformity and trend analysis.
Providing direction on dyno failures and quality containments.
Authorizing allowable repairs and writing procedures.
Approving SWI and proper EMP use for quality control and assurance.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or design/release engineering.
Valid driver's license.
100% Onsite availability.
