Job Description:

Our Client is looking for an IT Desktop Support Technician to join their IT team at their Kokomo, Indiana technical center. This Person will be responsible for the main Kokomo, Indiana location as well as a 2nd building next door. They will be supporting an end-user base of business users and engineers that work on engines and electrification processes for their vehicle transmission systems. This will be providing overarching L2 type support as they have a level 1 team that handles basic helpdesk issues. These technicians provide hands on support to a variety of users and are expected to have great customer service skills with the users. Additionally, they will be providing remote support where it makes sense and also helping out with different IT projects across the sites as they occur.

Additional Skills & Preferred Qualifications:

• Service Now, SCCM, Desktop Support, Hardware, Software, Active Directory, Windows 10/7, Mostly Lenovo, Dell, and standard hardware is issued for corporate users. Looking to further incorporate TeamViewer in their toolbox.

• About 1000+ users across their Indiana facilities

• Current Team in Kokomo consists of 2 other FTE technicians and a Service Delivery Manager on site.

• Communication and soft skills are key. They are big on culture and building a team that works well together and supports the needs of their end users so want to be sure people are being taken care of respectfully and that you work well with other team members.

  • Pay will be negotiable based on experience *

  • CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role *

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
