Opportunity

As the Vice President & Corporate Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial statements, while also providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and process improvements.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serves as a member of the Finance leadership team, contributing as a thought partner and representative of the function as the department interfaces with senior management.

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and talent management of a global team to drive engagement, effective delivery, and associate development.

  • Prepares and oversees the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and all relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Develops and manages the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and forecasts. Conducts variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and makes strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.

  • Establishes and maintains strong internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk. Identifies and mitigates financial and operational risks through proactive risk assessment and management.

  • Coordinates annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process. Manages tax compliance and liaise with tax authorities to optimize tax strategies.

  • Manages cash flow and liquidity, ensuring that the company has adequate funds to meet operational needs and strategic initiatives. Monitors and optimizes working capital management.

  • Stays current with financial technology trends and leads initiatives to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field related, with a preference towards a master’s degree and/or CPA or CMA certifications.

  • 10+ years of experience as a Controller or in a senior financial management role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. High ethical standards and integrity.

The salary range for this position is $227,200 - $301,650. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
