What you will be doing: 

  • Oversee pastry production for Banquets/Catering, Brown’s Beach House, Hale Kai, Brown’s Deli, Orchid Court, Binchotan, Luana Lounge, In Room Dining and Colleague Cafeteria

  • Support role to Executive Chef

  • Create memorable cuisine that truly impacts the guest experience

  • Passionately train our colleagues to ensure growth and consistency

  • Ensure high quality of food preparation and presentation

  • Maintain food safety in kitchens

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • 10+ years in resorts and/or restaurants with high volume

  • Previous Pastry Chef experience is required

  • Culinary or college/university degree preferred

  • Inspiring culinarian with a passion for food

  • Savvy financial acumen to ensure peak performance

  • Innovator – spirit to drive change/quest to be the best

  • On trend and creative menu development

  • Strong communicator – verbal and written

  • Natural leader to keep the team engaged and focused

  • Organized with solid time management skills

  • Team player with a collaborative approach

  • Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)

  • Additional certification(s) in Culinary will be an advantage (ServSafe Sanitation Certificate)

Additional Information

Salary Range: $75,099 - $85,486 USD

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
