RTS Auto Automotive Mechanic in Kodiak, Alaska
[This position is responsible for repairing vehicle's mechanical components, diagnosing problems with cars/ trucks, performing repairs and assisting with daily shop operations. [Job Duties and Responsibilities *[Automotive Mechanic [ Inspect vehicles to accurately diagnose and repair [ Repair or replace worn / malfunctioning parts [ Knowledge of manual and computerized diagnostic equipment [ Knowledge of how to use and maintain tools [ Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately [ Ensure customer satisfaction at all times [ Support Service Manager with vehicle repairs [ Second set of hands for heavy line repairs *[Shop Operation [ Move vehicles in and around shop [ Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc. [ Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies and parts *[Job Requirements [ Strong communication skills [ Ability to follow verbal and written directions [ Desire to learn and develop technical abilities [ Valid driver's license *[Physical Requirements [ Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
