Job Description
This role is NOT open to remote work. The role will be hybrid reporting to our Knoxville, TN office.
Our company actively seeks a dynamic and innovative Visual Designer to join our Product Design Team. In this role, you will be vital in shaping the visual aspects of our products, creating compelling designs that enhance the user experience and align with our brand identity. This is an opportunity for those passionate about visual design and excited about working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As a Visual Designer, your primary responsibility will be to grasp and translate our brand’s tone of voice into visually stunning and effective digital designs. Your role will involve conceptualizing and creating personalized content and experiences for our guests across our digital touchpoints.
Your visual design skills will shape our omnichannel digital experiences, from developing personalized journeys and promotional designs to creating infographics and mood boards that inspire and inform. This role seeks a creative individual with a meticulous eye for detail, superior problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design. Experience in a collaborative environment and proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, are required. This is an in-office role with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product, brand, and content design teams to create visually compelling designs across our product suite.
Translate marketing and product requirements into viable designs.
Leverage design best practices to produce personalized digital content for our users.
Participate in all stages of the design process, from ideation to final execution.
Uphold brand standards and messaging guidelines.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure designs align with marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a visual design role, preferably within a product or marketing team.
Proficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong graphic design skills with a solid understanding of typography, layouts, and color theory.
Excellent communication skills - you should be able to articulate your design decisions clearly.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A portfolio showcasing your work is a must. A URL is preferred.
