Candidate should have an understanding and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel and QuickBooks.
- Arrange shipping for customer orders by obtaining shipping quotes from various vendors, including all necessary shipping paperwork
- Prepare accurate and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, raw goods and services
- Coordinate raw material orders with designated vendors and follow up on late or missing raw material orders
- Order parts and coordinate preventative maintenance agreements for machinery
- Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
- Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Finalize customer orders for the manufacturing floor
- Proficiency with computers and QuickBooks software, strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
- Professional manner and strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
