Bergad Inc. Purchasing / Logistics in Kittanning, Pennsylvania

Candidate should have an understanding and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel and QuickBooks.

  • Arrange shipping for customer orders by obtaining shipping quotes from various vendors, including all necessary shipping paperwork
  • Prepare accurate and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials, raw goods and services
  • Coordinate raw material orders with designated vendors and follow up on late or missing raw material orders
  • Order parts and coordinate preventative maintenance agreements for machinery
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
  • Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Finalize customer orders for the manufacturing floor
  • Proficiency with computers and QuickBooks software, strong typing skills.
  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
