U.S. Air Force - Agency Wide PROGRAM ANALYST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY in Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
Summary The Air Force offers qualified applicants opportunities to be hired for certain occupations covered by Direct Hire Authorities (DHA). Responsibilities Performs out-year budget formulation involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year estimates. Researches, assembles, and/or develops background, documentation, and quantitative data to support program funding requests. Ensures program funding profiles across the Future Year Defense Program (FYDP) are credible in terms of realism, reasonableness, completeness, and consistency. Presents long-range planning budgets to Directorate senior management, answers specific questions, and provides clarifying details. Develops and recommends the adoption of Directorate procedures to implement these guidelines, providing training, advice, assistance, procedures, and guidance, as necessary. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DO-1 (7/11) broadband or equivalent in other pay systems. This specialized experience may include experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
