Position Title
Credential Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
The Registrars Office supports Truman State Universitys past, current, and future students by providing dependable, friendly, and efficient service in the areas of registration, records, and evaluation. We protect the integrity of the University through fair and consistent application of the academic rules and regulations established by the faculty, administration, state, and federal government.
- Serve as the liaison with academic departments and students regarding certificates and micro-credentials.
- Manage the application process for these credentials through the awarding of the credential.
- Provide support for curriculum workflows and catalog production utilizing Curriculog and Acalog.
- Coordinate the retractive foreign language credit and Seal of Biliteracy credit process.
- Manage incomplete agreement processing.
- Manage pre-approval, substitution and waiver process.
- Assist with office communications and inquiries.
- Assist with commencement events.
- Serve as backup to the Registration and Records Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or at least three years of work experience in higher education or work experience from which equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
- Evidence of oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, leadership skills, and organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- History of dependability, reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or five years of higher education work experience with college and registrar-related processes.
- Experience using Modern Campus Curriculog and Acalog products.
- Experience using Ellucians Banner software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Experience in or with military service or benefits.

Salary
The salary for this position starts at $35,600 annually.
