The People Operations Partner facilitates general People Operations responsibilities, assigned projects, and is a business partner for their assigned functional Teams. This role serves as the point of contact for Team Members, third-party contractors, and related vendor inquiries. This position ensures key People Operations programs such as onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits administration, reporting, and Team Member relations are executed in alignment with Kestra’s core values and objectives all while maintaining confidentiality and abiding by all applicable federal and state employment laws. This position reports to the Senior Manager of People Operations and routinely collaborates with the other Team Members of People Operations, Finance, and other in the organization to help provide guidance on policies, procedures, and programs that are compliant and engaging.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Act as a strategic business partner and generalist for assigned functional Teams by providing Team Member relations support, coaching, and recommending tools & resources that assist the Team in meeting their individual and functional goals while maintaining or increasing workplace engagement
Facilitate People Operations trainings in-person or virtually
Support the People Operations Team across multiple functional disciplines. Prioritize effectively to meet multiple competing deadlines
Coordinate New Team Member Onboarding process including pre-employment communications, ensure completion of background and drug screening, receipt of compliance related documents, close out of onboarding checklists, and payroll-related information.
Act as first-point-of-contact for on-site and remote Team Members of all levels and external contacts to answer and resolve general inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate and partner with Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely benefit-related deductions and special projects
Provide benefit administration by regular maintenance of benefit portal, reviewing weekly electronic data feeds and escalating issues, and responding to frequently asked Team Member questions
Enter and maintain HR data within HRIS and payroll systems
Be an engaged contributor and partner in key People Operations programs such as onboarding, annual benefits enrollment, performance management cycles, internship program, training facilitation, and other cyclical and special programs
Facilitate various group size onboarding and trainings in person and virtually to all levels of Team Members
Gather and report routine and ad-hoc data in a compliant and confidential manner to appropriate People Operations Team Members, Managers, and Executives
Apply Human Resources concepts, policies and procedures in a manner that adheres to confidentiality, federal and state laws, and aligns with Kestra’s core values and mission
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent and performance management, and employment law

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Minimum 4 years combined experience in a multi-state employer environment in at least three of the following human resource disciplines:
Recruitment
Benefit administration
Compensation
Employee Relations
Performance Management
HRIS Administration
Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service methods with internal and external contacts
Ability to apply HR concepts and adhere to legal compliance requirements
Experience with conflict resolution skills
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to meet short-term and long-term goals
Ability to present to Team Members in person and virtually
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED:
PHR or SHRM-CP, either achieved or exam date scheduled
Previous healthcare and of sales industry-related experience
Experience within a highly regulated environment
Experience within a start-up or rapid growth environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor open office environment
Minimal noise volume typical to an office environment
Extended/overtime hours when needed

Salary: $80,000-$110,000.
