CrowdStrike, Inc. Full time R18897 About the Role:

CrowdStrike Services is seeking a Platform Operations Manager who will help lead the Platform Operations team which provides planning, deployment, implementation, and operational support of the CrowdStrike platform and related applications. The Platform Operations Manager will have responsibility for building and growing a team focued on providing delivery of all aspects of the deployment from the initial customer engagement, planning, installation, optimization/utility and follow-on customer support for the CrowdStrike platform & applications.

What You'll Do: Activities may include:

  • Build and grow a team that helps customers operationalize and support CrowdStrike technologies.

  • Provide hands-on support in the trenches with all members of the Platform Operations team and help deliver high quality services to all of our customers.

  • Work cross functionally with CrowdStrike teams to ensure successfully delivey outcomes.

  • Manage and mentor team members to help expand skill sets and maximize performance.

  • Anticipate customer needs for Platform Operations by staying abreast of new CrowdStrike technologies.

  • Deliver directly to customers technical implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting assistance with the deployment of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform and associated applications.

  • Manage customer projects both directly and as a project leadership role.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with customer information technology teams.

  • Support both CrowdStrike Incident Response and Compromise Assessment teams with deployment of Falcon, Falcon Forensics Collectors and Cloud Collector tools.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Platform Operations team to develop customer facing collateral.

  • Lead skills workshops for the Platform Operations team.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and 10 years of experience performing IT deployments or in an end user/customer environment and 3 years of managing a team of direct reports, as well as experience with the following:

  • Strong understanding of employee management concepts

  • Strong understanding of software deployment technologies

  • Very knowledgeable on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Skillful communication and effective ability to build collaborative relationships

  • Expert experience with presentation technical content to various audiences

  • Expert experience in computer and network systems security

  • Solid analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems

  • Proactive and thorough ability to manage work and prioritize customer projects

  • Experience mentoring Senior team members

  • Strong experience leading a team to complete projects

  • High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven

  • Potential for travel and assignment work exists

Technical Experience in the Following Areas Preferred:

Endpoint Security: Falcon platform (preferred), AV, and EDR solutions

Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Mac

Software Deployment: SCCM, Group Policy, McAfee EPO, IBM BigFix, Puppet, Chef, Citrix, PDQ, PsExec

Development: PowerShell, P
