Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Controller to join our team in Kirkland, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial status and results. This includes handling the accounting close process, managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll, treasury management, general ledger accounting, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely, accurate and efficient accounting close on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Manage the accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement, and general ledger accounting on a day-to-day basis
• Facilitate the accounting department's use of CRMs and various other company applications and integrate software into accounting processes and procedures
• Perform technical accounting issue research and resolution as necessary
• Support the preparation and completion of the fiscal year budgeting process and evaluate business unit performance against budget
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with all state and federal regulations
• Prepare the monthly management financial reporting package, including variance analysis
• Report operational data to the leadership team, including key metrics on all financials
• Coordinate the creation of periodic financial reporting packages for company leadership
• Manage the annual financial audit process
• Develop, analyze, document, and implement internal controls
• Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting and finance policies, processes and procedures to comply with all state and federal regulations
• Seek opportunities to revise or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
• Proven experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) environments
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online software
• Experience in managing the accounting close process
• In-depth understanding of General Accounting principles
• Ability to manage invoicing processes
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Payroll management
• Knowledge of Treasury Management practices
• Experience in Procurement processes
• Ability to maintain and manage the General Ledger
• Proficiency in Technical Accounting
• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ability to prepare Financial Statements
• Experience in Financial Reporting
• Knowledge of Audit processes and principles
• Understanding of Internal Control systems
• Experience in implementing Process Improvement in accounting functions.
