We have an exciting leadership opportunity at The Arc Mid-Hudson for a Residential Program Manager, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, with our Reed residence located in Kingston, NY.
Eleven people, each with his or her own distinct personality and goals, live at Reed residence which is located in downtown Kingston. In the warmer weather, they like being outside, spending time at the park or enjoying barbecues. A shopping excursion to the mall or making plans to go out to enjoy a meal wouldn't be unusual. Employees who have experience in a healthcare setting would be especially helpful at Reed. Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. This motivated leader will possess a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services or a related field, and will have strong organizational skills and leadership experience. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.
HOURS: 40/Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm/Monday through Thursday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm/must be flexible, based on needs of program
STARTING SALARY: $ 58,500 per year
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services or related field required
Supervisory experience
Computer skills
Acceptable NYS Driver's license
