The Transformation Leader is a dynamic role that will help lead and successfully implement different Automation Innovation and Digital Transformation initiatives within the SEIGA Design team of Eastman’s Engineering Services and Solutions Organization. The role will interface with global team members and stakeholders across Eastman's Engineering and Construction, Manufacturing, and Maintenance organizations. The Transformation Leader will be at the forefront of integrating data-centric engineering tools and approaches, exploring mobility solutions, adopting emerging technologies, and driving process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions that cater to the needs of diverse clients. • Define and execute system architecture for various engineering design tools and platforms. • Conduct thorough analyses to understand the scope and requirements of different stakeholders and translate these into actionable plans that meet their requirements and expectations. • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence. • Develop comprehensive project plans that cover all aspects of the initiative, from inception to completion. • Develop and communicate business value propositions for different automation and digital transformation initiatives. • Design and optimize processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and collaboration. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and integration of transformation initiatives with broader organizational objectives. • Technology identification, vetting, pilot establishment and funding with management of key programs with management. • Provide technical support and guidance to users and team members on various tools and platforms. • Embrace a continuous improvement mentality regarding project execution and work processes. • Identify, quantify, and manage risk; ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. • Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout projects. • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the automation and digital transformation domain and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. • Identify and develop key metrics to measure status and defined success criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Strong knowledge of database systems, data management, and data analysis. • Strong background in automation, with a track record of successful innovation projects. • Innovative thinker with a passion for technology and manufacturing. • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. • Improvement-focused mindset. • Experience with implementing key initiatives in a complex environment. • Experience leading multi-discipline efforts as a formal or informal leader. • Creative, innovative thinker with ability to convert ideas to tangible options with associated benefit to cost valuation. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global and diverse environment. • Willingness to travel (10%).

Considered a plus:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, automation, or digital transformation. • Proficient in coding languages such as PowerShell, PML, Python, etc. • Experience in engineering design tools architecture and administration, such as AVEVA, Bentley, Autodesk, etc. • Experience with mobile technologies and solutions in manufacturing, operating, or similar environments. • Prior experience in engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance roles. • Experience in Project Management. #LI-Remote
