Responsibilities
Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues or potential problems.
Use diagnostic equipment to assess the condition of various vehicle systems.
Use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles.
Interpret diagnostic codes and troubleshoot issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Replace or repair worn-out parts, such as brake pads, filters, and belts.
Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems
Weld or fabricate components when necessary
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and alternators
Install and repair electrical accessories such as lighting, alarms, and entertainment
