Job Description

Join our Poland Spring team in Kingfield, ME

Pay Range : $23.85 / hour

50 cent increases after 90 and 180 days upon successful review

Shift differential paid for applicable hours worked

Schedule: Rotating schedule, 12 hour shift, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, Evening shift

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on production equipment consisting of fillers, labelers, case packers, and wrappers

Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed

Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, and downtime

Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks

Inspect raw materials against quality standards before loading raw materials

Interact with team members, quality assurance and maintenance to maximize output and efficiency

Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and good manufacturing practices are met

Work as a team to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations

Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials

Provide vacation coverage to team members as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience

Minimum two years’ experience in production manufacturing

Forklift experience preferred, but not required

Exposure to high speed production and clean manufacturing is strongly desired

Ability to work self-directed and with a team

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work

Computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus

Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency

Ability to lift/move 50 lbs and stand on your feet for extended periods of time throughout the day

Working under adverse environmental conditions, including inclement weather and changes in temperature
