Universal Health Services Regional Director - Quality Management in KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania

The UHS Quality Management Department is hiring a Regional Director – Quality Management that will collaborates with corporate partners and facility teams to operationalize key strategic initiatives, aligning with the UHS Division Quality Plan for successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the strategic planning, development, implementation and operation of UHS’ Quality Plan both at the field and corporate level. Directly works with assigned organizations to ensure the quality structure, physician participation, engagement, communication, training and orientation, and clinical initiatives are supported

  • Participate in the design and development of quality initiatives and Clinical Variation Reduction. Interact extensively with Quality, CEOs, CNOs, CMOs, related to facility specific dashboards that are a result of both quality and cost analytics and are set to meet/exceed the targets set through the Division Quality Plan

  • Ensure data integrity, data aggregation, attribution, and operational performance of our vendors and usability from end users’ perspective

  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with facility leadership and staff. Sets appropriate performance objectives to assure leadership and staff know what is expected. Provide appropriate tools for those staff to achieve expected results

  • Drive improved clinical outcomes through the deployment of standard toolkits, processes and clinical assessments. Mobilize resources required by the opportunities

  • Implement facility level clinical performance improvement projects with hospital executives and facility multidisciplinary teams under the direction of Divisional Quality leadership

  • Function as a Resource for service line leadership and executive staff. Facilitate sharing of ideas, strategies, and tactics to achieve targets. Engages physicians/clinicians. Mentor multidisciplinary team leaders and facility staff

  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines and services both at the corporate and facility level, including Analytics, IS, Risk, Regulatory and PI

    Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8 - 10 years' experience facilitating Clinical Quality Improvement initiatives in multiple facilities.

  • Proficient in the following applications Outlook, Teams, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Smartsheet

  • Understands and uses various quality tools including PDC/SA, Lean, Six Sigma

  • At least eight years of management experience with at least three years in a health care organization managing complex projects, with significant data management and analytic oversight

  • Prefer advanced degree Health Care Management, Nursing, Clinical Informatics, Business or related field, with at least 5 years of clinical experience as a clinical professional (RN, NP, PA, or Pharm D)

  • Knowledgeable about the health care market including payers, payment innovation and reimbursement

  • Travel up to 50%
