This position will pay within a range of $18.00 to $20.00 dollars. At Devereux, we are committed to providing innovative learning resources to our employees to support their performance.
As the selected National Learning Specialist – Instructional Design, you will:
Contribute as part of the national learning team to providing a consistent and exceptional employee experience, supporting our employees as they make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals we serve;
Use a team-based, iterative process to design and develop eLearning courseware and other high quality learning products;
Update and modernize existing elearning content to current standards;
Collaborate with other instructional designers and subject matter experts;
Assist in enhancing the transfer of knowledge and skill to our employees;
Use attention to detail to ensure products comply with national standards, laws and best practices.

Education : Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology, adult education, or a related field or two years of college credit plus two years’ experience with multiple learning technology tools.**
One year experience with technology based learning tools;
Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems and database systems;
Understanding of adult learning theory and experience in course design is required;
Experience with additional software tools related to internet and intranet course design a plus. Must be skilled at troubleshooting technical issues and finding effective solutions.
Must be very detail oriented, have the ability to work independently under indirect supervision, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
