Universal Health Services Compensation Analyst in KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

(This role has a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days flex-remote)

The UHS Corporate Human Resources Department is hiring a Compensation Analyst to provide day to day analytical support for UHS compensation programs both at the corporate office and for field locations. This is a collaborative role that will partner with the other members of the Compensation team to drive consistency across policies, practices, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct compensation benchmark analysis, recommend grade assignment, and handle day to day questions from field HR and/or Recruiting teams. Escalate issues as required and coordinate activities with Compensation Leadership, field HR Directors, and other leaders as required

  • Serve as a primary resource for the creation of job descriptions. May train field HR and Recruiting teams as needed. Review job descriptions for consistency, appropriateness, and accuracy. Provide direct feedback to Recruiting teams and/or hiring managers for Corporate job descriptions

  • Provide administrative and analytical support on a variety of projects including market research, cost analyses/budgeting, regulatory compliance updates (FLSA, minimum wage, etc.) and implementation of new programs

  • Prepare files for assigned salary survey submissions. Evaluate and provide recommendations for new survey sources as they become available

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of HRIS/Compensation Software projects related to compensation issues

    Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years' compensation experience.

  • Compensation knowledge required including state and federal laws applying to company compensation programs. Specific knowledge of healthcare jobs preferred

  • Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills. Well organized, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Incumbent should be confident to work independently but also be a strong team player

  • Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in addition to HRIS experience with Lawson or other similar systems

  • Experience with Marketpay preferred
