Job Title: Buyer

Department: Penn Home Infusion - Drivers

Entity: Penn Medicine at Home

Location: 625 Clark Ave, Suite 10 King of Prussia, PA

Shift/Hours: 7:30A - 4:00P M-F, Full Time

Summary:

  • Order all pharmaceuticals, supplies, and durable medical equipment; handle the inventory from week to week; order, receive, and restock inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Order all pharmaceuticals, supplies and durable medical equipment

  • Comply with proper purchasing procedures for the procurement of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

  • Assure adequate inventory levels are kept and maintain backorders at a minimum.

  • Perform monthly cycle counts on selected products.

  • Daily maintenance of inventory database ensuring that database quantities match physical quantities on hand.

  • Keep informed of new starts, therapies and trends.

  • Ensure drug and medical supplies are on hand for new patients or changes in their therapy.

  • Regularly update and maintain CPR+ product catalog ensuring necessary product information is in catalog and is correct.

  • Assure all expired medication and supplies are handled properly.

Credentials:

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

  • And 2+ years Experience with Home Infusion Durable Medical Equipment and drug and medical supply inventory desirable (required)
