Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - 40

Summary of Position

To teach lecture and lab courses in Geology and Environmental Science as assigned by the Department Chair.

Minimum Required Education

Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Geology and/or related courses from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

Minimum Required Experience

Teaching experience at the secondary and/or postsecondary level in Science is preferred.

Experience in preparing and executing geology field trips is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
