Summary of Position
The HR and Recruitment Specialist position reports directly to the Recruitment Supervisor with a dotted line to the Chief Human Resource Officer. The incumbent supports the entire HR department with specialized assistance for Recruitment Services. The incumbent coordinates and supports the implementation of Human Resource Management programs and processes and performs administrative tasks.
Minimum Required Education
A high school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education preferred.
Minimum Required Experience
Eight years of clerical/secretarial experience with a high school diploma or GED , or Certificate relevant trade school (60 credits toward a degree) and four years wage earning clerical experience or Associates Degree and two years wage earning clerical experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, possess a good telephone voice, and capable of projecting and articulating the policies of the institution,
Ability to interact effectively with the public and with all levels of employees
Capable of making discretionary and tactful decisions, Self-starter, possess a neat appearance,
High attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
Critical thinking skills
Demonstrated fundamental grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure and filing skills.
