UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Intern, Project Management Office - January 2025 in Kilkenny, Ireland

This is a 6-month internship starting Monday January 13 th , 2025. It is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am – 5:30pm. To be eligible for our internship program you must be able to work in a hybrid environment and be on-site 3 days per week at our Kilkenny office which is in the IDA Business and Technology Park.

About the role:

As a PMO Intern, you will support the PMO team in various project management activities, including project planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop your project management skills, gain exposure to real-world projects, and contribute to the success of our initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plan templates, project setup and PMO processes.

  • Support the tracking and reporting of project progress, including status updates and performance metrics.

  • Help prepare project documentation, risk registers, and meeting minutes.

  • Participate in meetings, capturing key discussions and action items.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and effective communication.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of PMO processes, tools, and templates.

  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the PMO team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
