We have an exciting opportunity a Project Manager to join our growing team at Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager & Director of Finance with annual CAPEX budget presentation.

  • Ensure that all Project related Standard Operating Procedures are prepared to the highest quality and updated as needed.

  • Work closely with key leaders at the inception of projects including the raising of CAPEX approval forms, checklists and purchase orders as directed by the General Manager & Director of Finance.

  • To update CAPEX tracker and chair a weekly review meeting to monitor progress on all projects.

  • Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and contractors during the inception of a project.

  • Monitor and reconcile all balance sheet nominal accounts related to Capital Expenditure.

  • To produce bi-monthly VAT reporting on CAPEX spend to Finance for submission and payment to Revenue.

  • To perform post-project reviews and appraisals to monitor snags or area’s that require additional attention to report issues or learnings from all projects.

  • Project manage each capex project from start finish.

  • Ability to work autonomously with use of self-motivation.

  • Strong organizational/ project management skills with high attention to detail.

  • Good presentation and influencing skills.

  • Strong team working skills and able to work effectively and both manage and contribute to a team.

  • Ability to multitask many projects/initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.

  • Adaptable, and enjoys doing a variety of different tasks.
