Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests. Prepares purchase order and sends copy to supplier. Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates and places orders with suppliers. Stocks and issues materials. Organizes and constructs/ stages parts for scheduled repairs and PMs. Kits where feasible. Provides updates and confers with individuals assigned to PMs parts arrival and status. Confers with suppliers concerning late deliveries. Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity and adjusts inventory. Verifies invoices, purchases orders and approves invoices for payment. Prepares report such as inventory balances and parts usage. Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates and places orders with suppliers. Estimates based on current prices and historical data for parts used on repairs, when requested. Provide information pertinent to work order completion estimates. Conferring with Engineering on proper material and established standards for replacement components when substitutions are required.
