Hyatt Assistant Front Office Manager in KEY WEST, Florida

Description:

The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an AssistantFront OfficeManager to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street.

TheAssistantFront OfficeManagerwill have oversight of the Front Office staff, cash control for agents, staffing needs, and guest services. Additional responsibilities will include training, staff development and scheduling. TheAssistantFront OfficeManagerwill promote an atmosphere that insures customer and colleague satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.

  • 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms experience preferred

  • Minimum of one year previous Front Office supervisory experience

  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with a friendly and engaging attitude

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
