Job Title EPASS GBM.035-036 Systems Engineer, Senior Location Ohio- Kettering Office - Kettering, OH 45409 US (Primary) Job Description Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager located Kettering, OH (Dayton/WPAFB area) to support two programs on our EPASS GB contract. As part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), the Depot Maintenance Systems Integration (DMSI) is six software applications integrated by a consolidated database. DMSI manages programmed and un-programmed repair, upgrade, or modification of major weapon systems. It identifies materials for pre-positioning and initiates cost-control measures for material usage. It establishes and maintains labor standards for planning and pricing. It supports depot capacity simulations to determine capability for surge planning and normal operation tempos. DMSI assigns item-tracking numbers to all parts and tracks through disassembly, repair, and assembly activities. It provides the capability to plan, induct workload, control inventory, and track repair operations to completion. It documents standard labor hours earned by depot level maintenance activities. DMSI provides command-level data for mission capability assessments by the Air Force Materiel Command. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position requires a highly motivated individual who will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of Agile system engineering to the acquisition process and be able to: Responsibilities may also include but not be limited to: * Identify, describe, and apply emerging IT acquisition strategies, best practices, IT-related performance measures and quality management in support of acquisition planning, information assurance/cybersecurity, test and evaluation processes, verification and validation processes, and/or, fielding and sustaining of IT/software systems; * Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications; * Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications; * Prepare technical documentation which defines, specifies, and recommends system/subsystem characteristics; * Prepare management reports and conducts technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action using application of engineering principles; * Perform validation of software systems including development of analyses/evaluation criteria and procedures, analyses/evaluation of results, and related recommendations; * Provide Agile and Digital system/program engineering, technical support and technical training to support programs/initiatives including, but not limited to, acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight; * Provide engineeri
