Job Title: Screw Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Screw Machinist to join our team. This is a position requiring 40-50-hour work weeks, with voluntary weekend shifts available. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with various CNC machines and will play a crucial role in our high-volume, high-precision manufacturing process. This will be on 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
Attend daily meetings to understand shift assignments and work stations.
Manage up to 3 CNC machines simultaneously.
Perform up to 8 or 9 tool changes per day across all machines.
Load CNC machines, pull programs, and make minor edits as needed.
Conduct quality checks with Micrometers and Calipers every 300-400 parts.
Store completed parts in bins for daily shipment to customers.
Essential Skills
5 years experience on Screw Machines.
5 years experience reading blueprints.
5 years experience making edits to existing programs.
2 years minimum experience performing quality checks on parts using Micrometers and Calipers.
5 years experience cutting Steel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CNC Programming experience is a plus.

We offer an Apprenticeship program where individuals work in the facility four days per week and attend school one day per week, with full pay for the week. Additionally, employees receive 1 personal hour for every 25 hours worked, which does not roll over if not used. We also have a Pay for Skills program that allows employees to complete courses on their own time to increase their hourly wage.
Work Environment
This will be on 3rd shift. Our work environment is fairly loud but clean and air-conditioned. We maintain a hands-off management style that is also direct. Employees have their own work stations and are allowed to have food, drinks, and music of their choosing, provided they meet production demands.
