Consolidated Safety Services Professional Furniture Mover in Kent, Washington

The Professional Mover role is responsible for providing excellent customer service through the entire moving process. The mover will safely load, transport, and unload the customers' belongings. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, works well with other team members, and is physically capable of strenuous work. Duties: Review work orders and communicate with client for moving/transporting preferences Wrap furniture/equipment ni protective material Lift a variety of fragile, large, and heavy items without damaging them Organize items to be transported on the moving truck Drive a moving truck 10' to 26' Assessing and improving moving/transporting flows Ensure related documentation is complete and accurate Make improvement recommendations Communicates with supervisor, personnel, vendors as it relates to the job Responsible for keeping equipment and truck clean and orderly Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age or older. Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency.1-3 years experience in moving furniture and equipment. Hold and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license. The ability to work with customers in a professional manner. Possess a solid background in customer service and relations. Superior communication skills with problem-solving abilites. Able to pass: Drug Screen, and Background Check. Job Safety Requirements: Must follow strict safety procedures and a strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines. Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, company policies and procedures, and Safety and Environmental Regulations. Physical Requirements: Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds alone or 100+ pounds with the team; move and load or unload material from facilities, vehicles, and/or carts; push and maneuver carts, and/or dollies. Skills Required: Outstanding organization techniques and skills and the capability to transform those skills into efficient processes. Ability to develop strong, positive relationships with personnel and contractors. Proven experience in customer service.
