ASSA ABLOY Door Group is adding a Production Lead (Frame Cell Lead) to our Northwest regional manufacturing facility or Service Center based in Kent, Washington.

What would you do as our Frame Cell Production Lead?

You will be an integral part of our expanding our production department responsible for manufacturing hollow metal doors and frames.

You will also:

  • Act as a working lead helping to oversee all aspects of production.

  • Help to maximize efficiencies and minimize waste.

  • Ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely fashion to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are safe to operate and maintained according to preventive maintenance and safety protocols.

  • Help to train and develop your team, ensuring they understand their respective duties and are cross-trained.

  • Ensure quality control measures are in place to ensure the manufacturing of a top-quality product.

  • Monitor and track production numbers required for daily reports.

  • Learn and understand each functional job in the frame cell.

  • Enforce compliance of all state, federal, and OSHA regulations along with all company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

  • Other projects and assignments, as needed.

    The Skills and Experience you need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous manufacturing experience required, preferably in a steel/metal environment (i.e. tool and die, HVAC metal, light gauge steel, etc.).

  • Previous experience leading or managing teams in a manufacturing setting and a demonstrated track record of accomplishing goals through your team.

  • Basic geometry and math skills (decimals to fractions) knowledge required

  • Previous experience reading blueprints and/or architectural drawings required.

  • Previous experience or knowledge in a welding environment a plus.

  • Previous experience or familiarity with CNC machines, Shear Press, Punch Press, Break Press, KVA and Paint Booth strongly preferred (i.e. Accupress, Cincinnati).

  • Ability to use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software helpful.

    * Salary: $55,000 and $72,500 *
