JOB REQUIREMENTS: Product Application Specialist II (SOC title: Industrial Machinery Mechanics) 1) Develop pilot test plans for customers utilizing Alfa Laval pilot equipment for Alfa Laval equipment such as separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers. 2) Manage piloting activities and execute pilot tests as required, 3) Prepare reports on pilot testing activities. 4) Provide process and application support for both internal colleagues and external customers. 5) Provide process optimization of high speed separators and decanter centrifuges. 6) Support Alfa Laval separation base business which could include the following: site support; audits; training; commissioning of equipment. 7) Support R&D efforts as it relates to application and process development, as well as new product development efforts. Requirements: Education: High School Graduate Experience: Five (5) years of experience in field services positions for separators, decanters and plate heat exchangers including the overhaul, repair, fault diagnosis, trouble shooting and on-site servicing utilizing knowledge of process flow, mass balance and development relating to equipment process, rotating equipment function and control, and piping and instrument diagrams. Other requirements: 1) Must be available to work overtime (including during the night) and on weekends as needed to meet business demands.
