Job Description Maintenance Technician coworkers are responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of all plant machinery and equipment. The various machinery and equipment includes: Sidel Blow Mold machinery, leak detectors, conveyor systems, chillers, towers, air compressors, dryers, strappers, stretch wrappers, and palletizers. Close attention to quality and detail is a must while working in a fast-paced and quick changing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing predictive and preventive maintenance work, troubleshooting and machine repairs on various production machinery and equipment. Dismantle machinery and equipment to remove and replace/repair defective parts using hand and power tools. Experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits with aid of schematics for troubleshooting or repair. Repair electric circuits with complete understanding of electrical schematic diagrams. Ability and willingness to learn new equipment operation, troubleshooting and repairs. Determine materials and/or parts needed for service / repair of equipment. Must be thoroughly familiar with hand tools and maintenance practices. Provides own general mechanics tools and toolbox. Helps organize and maintains maintenance areas...
