What you\'ll do: Recruit, interview and hire hourly employees using Monster Applicant Tracking System Assist Plant Management in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring salaried employees Conduct/arrange pre-hire employment and drug testing, background checks and physicals Onboard (orient) all new hires Diligently enforce the Plants Policies, Employee Handbook and Corporate policies Communicate with all employees to help resolve work related issues Conduct any required investigations Assist Supervisors/Plant Management with disciplinary-related issues Maintain applicant and employee records Approve and track FMLA, Sick Leave, and LTD Ensure all federal and state laws are followed Maintain current Legal posting requirements Provide HR- related training as required Develop/update and enforce administration of plant rules as required Facilitate and coordinate employee events Establish and maintain excellent verbal and written communication with Plant Manager, Superintendent and Supervisors across all shifts and crews Maintain communication with assigned Corporate Regional Human Resources Manager Perform benefits administration, as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager We need you to have: Bachelor\'s degree in Business/Human Resources or a related field of study. 1 + years of Plant Human Resources experience. Basic knowledge of the operation of the equipment and the flow of material throughout the plant. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent time-management skills. Good communication skills. Attention to detailand a process-oriented mindset. Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
