High school diploma or GED certificate required Two to four years of previous truck or heavy equipment mechanical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Must have a basic understanding of DOT, OSHA, EEOC, and BWC regulatory agencies and applicable laws Must be able to operate all equipment and have an appropriate operator\'s license Must have forklift training Must pass PIV certification training and safely operate PIV Knowledge of all forklift, truck, trailer, and refrigeration components as well as hydraulic presses, Freon recovery machines, all troubleshooting test equipment, power drills, saws, and hydraulic jacks Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment, handheld devices, and personal computers Ability to use a variety of power and machine tools, such as pneumatic tools, lathes, grinding machines, welding equipment, and cutting torches.
