Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Technician to provide 24/7 support primarily through emails and service queries. This role involves answering service calls, visiting clients as coordinated by the Office Manager, supporting engineering and controls, and examining and troubleshooting machines either onsite at a client location or at our facility in Kenosha.
Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 support mainly through emails and service queries.
Answer service calls.
Visit clients as needed, coordinated by the Office Manager.
Support engineering and controls.
Examine and troubleshoot machines, whether onsite at a client location or at the Kenosha facility.
File expense reports, travel reports, etc.
Essential Skills
Customer service
Electrical skills
Mechanical skills
Panel building
Panel troubleshooting
General troubleshooting
Bilingual abilities (Spanish and/or French are a plus)
Experience with food processing equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus, but not necessary.
Experience in food processing equipment is advantageous.
Work Environment
The work environment is very clean, with large rooms dedicated to testing and demonstrating machines to clients. These spaces are bright, spacious, and well-maintained. Typical work hours are from 9am to 5pm, but there is flexibility in the schedule as long as service calls and emails are handled promptly to maintain excellent customer service. The role includes great training from experienced personnel, a company phone, Air Pods for both professional and personal use, and reimbursement for travel expenses, including up to $100 per day for food.
